Architecture: Khaliq Dina Hall

The hall was designed by Iraqi-Jewish architect Moses Somake who was born in Lahore in Palladian style. The 10-foot terrace and triangular back wall with 12 ionic Greek-style tombs at the front, making the building look like an ancient Greek temple, are of the most important note. The back wall was registered as Ghulam Hussain Khaliqdina Hall and the Library in 1906 with the building and construction date. The building’s outside dimensions are 525 by 325 feet, and the inside is 95 feet long by 45 feet wide. The height of the internal ceiling is 30 ft. The main hall can hold approximately 600 people. The original pitched roof was made of teak wood, and in intense heavy rain, it fell in 1994
