About: Pakistan Maritime Museum

The Maritime Museum of Pakistan is a naval museum located in Karachi, Pakistan, near PNS Karsaz on Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah road. It is located inside the park of 28-acre. Six galleries and an auditorium surround this museum. Modern theories of pre-based notation and virtual education are the basis of the museum. Various maritime and naval heritage artifacts have been installed through charming dioramas, relief sculptures, murals, miniature paintings, touch screen computers, taxidermy, and ancient weapons. A computer-based maritime data gathering scheme has also been installed to enable quick access for tourists and students. The museum also shows the Daphne Class Submarine PNS Hangor (S131), the PNS Mujahid (M164) minesweeper, the Breguet Atlantic aircraft, the wooden barge which the Queen gave to the Naval Chief in the 1960s.
